Steph Tolev

Steph Tolev has been a dominant figure in the comedy scene, both in Canada and internationally. Her journey into the comedic world was marked by the formation of the sketch comedy duo Ladystache with Allison Hogg. Their innovative approach to comedy won them the Most Innovative Comedy Troupe at Montreal Sketchfest in 2010 and the Just for Laughs Award at the same festival in 2015. She further cemented her standing by winning the award for Best Female Stand Up at the 2015 Canadian Comedy Awards. Tolev's comedic prowess also led her to participate in SiriusXM Canada's Top Comic Finale in Toronto in 2015.

Her career kept gaining momentum, with her 2019 comedy album "I'm Not Well" being nominated for the Juno Award for Comedy Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2020. Tolev also had the privilege of opening for renowned comedian Bill Burr during his comedy tour and was featured in his Netflix special, "Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill." She also guest-starred in Season 2 of the Netflix series "Tires" in 2025. The same year, Tolev filmed "Filth Queen" at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts for Netflix, marking her first special for the leading streaming platform.
