Spencer Bynes is the Metro President of iHeartMedia Atlanta, overseeing a six-station cluster in one of the company’s most competitive markets. As the first Black Metro President in Atlanta, Bynes leads programming, operations, and strategic partnerships with a focus on innovation and inclusion.
With over 25 years of experience across industries such as broadcast media, healthcare, consumer goods, and higher education, Bynes is known for his ability to drive revenue, develop talent, and lead high-performing teams. Formerly the Texas Area President for iHeartMedia, he earned the 2022 Community Market of the Year Award for record-breaking growth. Bynes also served in leadership roles at Coca-Cola North America and founded Accendo International, a leadership development firm.
