Sixwire & Gretchen Wilson

Sixwire is a Nashville-based country music band named in reference to the six strings of a guitar. The group features Andy Childs on lead vocals and guitar, Steve Hornbeak on keyboards and vocals, John Howard on bass guitar, Steve Mandile on guitar and vocals, and Chuck Tilley on drums and percussion. Sixwire recorded a debut album for Warner Bros. Records, producing two singles that charted on the Billboard country charts, including the No. 30 hit "Look at Me Now." Prior to the band's formation, Andy Childs recorded for RCA Nashville, while Steve Mandile co-wrote singles for Phil Vassar, Tim McGraw, and Shane McAnally, and played lead guitar in Pam Tillis' road band.

After their debut, Sixwire became a sought-after act in Nashville, performing live and appearing on television. The band toured with artists such as Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and Martina McBride. Following their time with Warner Bros., members of Sixwire served as the house band on USA Network's "Nashville Star" for three seasons and participated in Fox Network's "The Next Great American Band." Sixwire later became the house band for CMT's "Can You Duet" for two seasons and for CMT's "Next Superstar," with Mandile as music director. Childs and Mandile have written songs recorded by Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Cagle, Lee Greenwood, John Michael Montgomery, and Phil Vassar.

Sixwire has performed at major events including Super Bowls 51, 54, and 56, the Daytona 500, the NHL All-Star Game, and served as ESPN's first house band for the NFL Draft. Their television appearances include "All-American New Year's Eve" on FOX, and performances during the US Figure Skating Championship on NBC and Peacock. Collectively, Sixwire members have appeared on programs such as "American Idol," ABC's "Nashville," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Saturday Night Live," "The Today Show," "Good Morning America," the Grammy Awards, the ACM Awards, and the CMA Awards.

Gretchen Wilson is an American country music singer and songwriter known for her distinctive voice and working-class perspective. Wilson debuted with the Grammy Award–winning single "Redneck Woman," a number-one hit on the Billboard country charts and the lead single from her debut album "Here for the Party." "Redneck Woman" was the first single by a solo female singer to top the Billboard country singles chart in over two years, while "Here for the Party" entered the country album chart at number one with a record-setting opening week for a new country artist. Wilson followed this album with "All Jacked Up," whose title track became the highest-debuting single for a female country artist at the time.

Wilson's achievements include a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, ACM Top Female Vocalist, and the CMA Horizon Award. She has sold more than 8.2 million records worldwide. In addition to her music career, Wilson authored the New York Times bestselling memoir "Redneck Woman: Stories from My Life." Wilson competed in season thirteen of "The Masked Singer" as Pearl and won the season, performing "Redneck Woman" in the finale. She also joined the cast of the music competition show "The Road" on CBS, serving as tour manager alongside Keith Urban and Blake Shelton.
