Siena Liggins

Siena Liggins is an Atlanta-based pop and R&B singer-songwriter known for her work at the intersection of contemporary pop music, LGBTQ+ representation, and independent artistry. After studying at the Detroit Institute of Music Education and beginning studies at NYU Steinhardt, Liggins chose to pursue music full time. She began writing for artists at Assemble Sound, a Detroit-based development hub for independent musicians, and released her debut single, "Flowerbomb."

Inspired by artists such as TLC, Usher, and Britney Spears, Liggins creates music that combines assertive lyrics with a soft vocal style and playful production. Her debut album, "Ms. Out Tonight," amassed millions of streams and earned features on playlists across major streaming platforms, including Spotify's New Music Friday, Fresh Finds, BBE, and SALT, as well as the cover spot on Tidal's Rising: Pop and Rising: Pride playlists. Liggins released "Ms. Out Tonight" as a visual album to emphasize her commitment to challenging norms and expanding representation in pop music. The album earned her recognition as one of the top rising LGBTQ+ artists according to Billboard.

Through her follow-up album, "FLOOZY," Liggins explores themes of heartache, humility, and celebration, reflecting her personal journey through challenging experiences in love. The album draws from genres including pop, hyperpop, and hip-hop, showcasing her unfiltered sound and genre-blending approach.

Liggins is recognized as a pop provocateur and advocate for equity, supporting initiatives that prioritize social impact and mindful practices. She frequently addresses topics such as activism, Black history, civil rights, diversity and inclusion, entertainment, LGBTQ issues, music, and social justice as a keynote speaker.

Liggins has shared stages with artists including Doja Cat, Lizzo, Baby Tate, Leikeli47, and CupcakKe, and has toured the East Coast as direct support to Jax Anderson. She has performed at Pride festivals worldwide and is known for her dynamic live performances and distinctive fashion sense, contributing to her reputation as a style icon in the music industry.
