Sid Ridgley

Sid Ridgley, CSP, MBA, is an organizational development specialist and enterprise development professional focused on helping leaders build workplaces that support both employee engagement and customer satisfaction. Ridgley emphasizes that every organization shapes its own culture, which in turn influences employee relations and customer loyalty.

Ridgley serves as president of Simul Corporation, where his team collaborates with clients to develop practical solutions for environments often described as chaotic, stressful, underperforming, and resistant to change. He specializes in customer satisfaction and loyalty, sales, leadership development, and front-line driven cultural change processes. His expertise extends into the energy sector, particularly the electric utility market, where he conducts research on customer perceptions. His findings are published in the book "Call Before You Dig! How Electric Utilities Can Strengthen Connections With Customers While Providing Better Service at Lower Cost."

Ridgley has developed his management and speaking expertise through executive roles in retail and software development, more than 10 years facilitating courses in organizational behavior, training and development, and interpersonal communications at Wilfrid Laurier University, and over 20 years providing customized programs for clients. He is an adjunct instructor for the University of Winnipeg and the Schulich School of Business at York University. His client roster includes Sunoco, RasGas, Hydro Ottawa, Philips, The Toronto Hospital for Sick Children, Siemens Canada, and others.

Ridgley served as president of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and has been inducted into the Canadian Speakers Hall of Fame.
