Shreya Murthy

Shreya Murthy is the co-founder and CEO of Partiful, a New York-based event planning platform that has redefined how people organize and experience social gatherings. Launched in 2020, Partiful offers a user-friendly alternative to traditional event planning tools, allowing hosts to create customized invitations, manage RSVPs, and coordinate logistics—all without requiring guests to download an app or register. The platform has gained significant traction among Gen Z, millennials, and startup founders, with the majority of users under 30 years old.

Under Murthy's leadership, Partiful secured $20 million in Series A funding in 2022 and expanded its reach with iOS and Android apps in 2024. The company was named Google's Best App of the Year in 2024 and was a finalist for Apple's App Store Awards for Cultural Impact in the same year. By the end of 2023, Partiful had amassed millions of active users, cementing its position as a leading platform in the event planning space.

Prior to founding Partiful, Murthy held key roles at Palantir Technologies, where she managed enterprise operations and strategy, and at ASAPP, where she served as Head of Product Deployment. She also won the Grand Prize at BCG Digital Ventures' DV Hacks: AI event, showcasing her commitment to innovation in technology. Murthy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University.
