Shourya Agarwal

Shourya Agarwal is the co-founder and CEO of Flam, an AI-powered mixed reality platform focused on transforming how brands and enterprises engage with audiences. Founded alongside BITS Pilani alumni Malhar Patil and Amit Gaiki, Flam develops a full-stack enterprise suite of generative AI-powered products designed to enhance brand engagement through immersive technology.

Before Flam, Agarwal founded Homingos, where he developed core AI technology for augmented reality and phygital connections, demonstrating a commitment to bridging the physical and digital worlds. He also gained industry experience as an engineering intern at Nutanix and holds a degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

Agarwal launched Flam to address a gap in the market, recognizing that brands were investing heavily in advertising—across TV, in-store displays, and product packaging—yet achieving only passive impressions and limited attribution. Flam’s platform transforms consumer touchpoints, such as TV screens, retail aisles, posters, and magazine pages, into interactive mixed reality experiences without requiring an app, download, or redirect. The platform utilizes AI, image recognition, and ground tracking technology to optimize 3D graphics and enable the creation and deployment of mixed reality content.

Under Agarwal’s leadership, Flam has been adopted by more than 100 global brands, including Google, Samsung, Emirates, Britannia, and Mahindra, powering real-time mixed reality campaigns that have reached over 380 million users. The company enables brands to create interactive experiences, such as turning product packaging into shareable stories and activating 3D demos on TV ads and billboards, aligning with current media consumption trends. Flam has raised $14 million in Series A funding, led by RTP Global with participation from Dovetail and other investors, bringing total funding to $22 million to scale its AI infrastructure.

Agarwal has articulated a vision for Flam that extends beyond advertising, aiming to turn every touchpoint—digital, broadcast TV, mass media, retail, and stadium fan engagements—into an interactive digital experience. The company is advancing development in generative AI-driven 3D asset generation, an enterprise suite for scalable mixed reality deployment, and expanded infrastructure for broadcasters and fan engagement platforms. Flam employs more than 120 people across engineering, AI, creative technology, and go-to-market teams, with ongoing expansion in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Agarwal’s career, from building AR infrastructure at Homingos to leading a global mixed reality platform, positions him as a key figure in immersive technology, brand engagement, and the integration of physical and digital experiences.
