Sheryl Utal

Sheryl Utal is an entrepreneur, wellness innovator, and keynote speaker whose career spans corporate finance, holistic health, and technology. After a decade in private equity, real estate development, hotel investment, and management consulting, Utal transitioned her professional focus to wellness and health technology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and Spanish from San Diego State University.

Utal’s interest in holistic health began after conventional treatments for an autoimmune disease proved ineffective, prompting her to explore yoga, breath work, sound healing, shadow work, and meditation. These experiences informed her approach to wellness entrepreneurship.

Utal founded Red Diamond Yoga, a yoga studio in Los Angeles, where she developed programs in yoga, breath work, energy healing, fitness, and mindfulness. After serving nearly 40,000 students and expanding the studio to offer more than 70 classes per week, she sold Red Diamond Yoga and launched Japa Health. Japa Health is a technology platform that provides personalized physical, mental, and spiritual health recommendations, metabolic health coaching, lab tests, access to medical professionals, personalized health plans, courses, anti-inflammatory recipes, and an online wellness community.

Utal is also a published author and speaker. Her book, "Transcending Limits," explores the impact of energy on personal development and intentional self-creation. She leads workshops on the neuroscience of self-regulation, sound baths, yoga, and topics related to shadow work, spirituality, entrepreneurship, business growth, leadership, empowerment, female leadership, health, and personal growth. Utal also founded Japa Hot Yoga, furthering her commitment to accessible wellness practices. Her background in both corporate and wellness sectors positions her as a knowledgeable voice at the intersection of science, spirituality, and human potential.
