Shereese Floyd

Shereese Floyd is a keynote speaker, TEDx speaker, nonprofit consultant, and women's leadership advocate whose work centers on the conviction that women should be compensated for their ideas as well as their labor. Floyd collaborates with organizations, corporations, and universities to create, implement, and license women's leadership programs, engaging audiences across a range of settings. Before launching her consulting practice, she spent more than 20 years in nonprofit marketing as a director of communications, where she supported organizations in increasing revenue through story-based marketing. This professional background informs her current work in leadership development and nonprofit strategy.

Floyd is the CEO of Witness My Life, a people and culture firm focused on amplifying marginalized voices through thought leadership. She is the creator of the Witness My Life Project, a storytelling platform that encourages women to share their narratives and inspire others through MemoirWear, a t-shirt line celebrating diverse experiences. Her flagship program, "DEFIANCE: Thought Leadership Accelerator," is designed to support women in developing thought leadership skills across industries. Floyd also launched "Break the Glass: Thought Leadership Academy," a 12-week professional development curriculum for mid-career and senior-level Black women.

In her TEDx talk, "The Secret to Healing the World," Floyd discusses how she and a neighbor with opposing views were able to coexist peacefully. She received the Cicero Speechwriting Award for this presentation. Floyd frequently speaks on mastering difficult conversations, connecting personal storytelling with broader social themes. Her work has appeared in Chief Learning Officer, Essence, TEDx, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, and CEO World, and she was recognized as one of 100 Women to KNOW in America.

Floyd founded AI Consultants for Nonprofits, a practice that helps organizations ethically leverage artificial intelligence to extend human, marketing, and financial resources. Through this venture, she launched an accredited AI certification program for nonprofit professionals, offering a comprehensive 12-week course in practical AI skills. Using AI, she has supported organizations in raising significant grant funding and reducing staff overhead. Floyd also serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners Charlotte Chapter. Her work continues to shape the conversation around women's leadership, nonprofit innovation, and ethical AI in the workplace.
