Shannon Bahrke

Highly decorated freestyle skier Shannon Bahrke embraced a remarkable journey from Olympic podiums to entrepreneurial and empowerment ventures. With a deep-rooted passion for outdoor activities, Bahrke joined the Squaw Valley Freestyle Team at 12, discovering her love for freestyle skiing.

Her skiing career spanned 12 years, highlighted by consistent membership on the USA National Team. Notable achievements include clinching the Overall World Cup title in 2003, securing 7 World Cup victories, achieving 26 podium finishes, winning 6 U.S. National titles, and contributing to 6 World Championship Teams with 2 medals. Bahrke also represented the U.S. in three Olympic Games, earning a silver medal in 2002 and a bronze in 2010.

Beyond skiing, Bahrke ventured into entrepreneurship alongside her husband, launching Silver Bean Coffee, a thriving wholesale coffee business with a trio of coffee shops. As priorities shifted with the birth of their daughter, Bahrke's passion for empowerment took center stage. In 2017, she established Team Empower Hour, an initiative led by Olympians offering leadership development, team building, speeches, and fitness classes to corporate teams worldwide. Through this venture, Bahrke not only empowers professionals but also creates a supportive community among Olympians, aiming to unite over 100 athletes across disciplines to bring the Olympic Spirit to the world of business.
