Shane Smith, a native of Terrell, Texas, is a singer, songwriter and frontman of Shane Smith & The Saints. After moving to Austin to pursue music full time, Smith connected with Bennett Brown and other musicians who now make up The Saints, including Dustin Schaefer on lead guitar, Chase Satterwhite on bass, and Zach Stover on drums.
Known for high-energy live performances and stunning four-part harmonies, Smith follows in the footsteps of Lone Star songwriters like Chris Stapleton, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Hayes Carll and Ryan Bingham. The band has released several albums, including "Coast" (2013), "Geronimo" (2015), "Hail Mary" (2019), and their latest studio recording, "Hummingbird." As the band’s primary songwriter, Smith strives to create music with personal meaning and honest conviction, connecting with audiences both on stage and through his recordings.
