Brian Eisch is a veteran military personnel of the US Army who retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army; after serving the country for 20 years. Brian's life and his family's life was completely changed when he was deployed to Afghanistan from Fort Drum in 2010 where he lost his left leg in an ambush.
“Father Soldier Son” is a New York Times documentary that debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was released on Netflix Friday, July 17, 2020. The documentary follows Eisch and his family for 10 years. The New York Times highlighted the single dad in a 2010 article, “Families Bear Brunt of Deployment Strains.”
