Seth Jarvis

Seth Jarvis is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jarvis was selected 13th overall by the Hurricanes in the NHL Entry Draft. Before joining the NHL, Jarvis played 154 regular season games with the Portland Winterhawks in the Western Hockey League (WHL), recording 166 points. In one season, he scored 42 goals and 56 assists for 98 points in 58 games, finishing second in the WHL scoring race. He earned the Brad Hornung Trophy as the WHL's Most Sportsmanlike Player and was named to the WHL West First All-Star Team.

Jarvis made his NHL debut and recorded his first point, scoring his first career NHL goal shortly after. He finished his rookie season with 17 goals and 23 assists for 40 points in 68 games. Jarvis established himself as a key contributor to the Hurricanes' offense, leading the team in goals in consecutive seasons and receiving Selke Trophy consideration for his two-way play. He became the sixth player in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup in the same season he earned a silver medal with NHL player participation at the Olympics.
