Sebastian Lletget

Sebastian Lletget (pronounced lih-JET) is a seasoned American soccer player currently serving as a midfielder for FC Dallas in Major League Soccer (MLS). Born on September 3, 1992, in San Francisco, California, Lletget began his soccer journey in the U.S. youth system, including time with U.S. Soccer’s U-17 residency program, before signing with West Ham United in England in 2010.

He made his professional debut for West Ham in 2014 before returning to the United States to join LA Galaxy in 2015. Over six seasons with the Galaxy, he became a consistent contributor, appearing in more than 150 matches and recording 25 goals and 27 assists. He later played for the New England Revolution and then joined FC Dallas in 2022.

On the international stage, Lletget debuted for the U.S. Men's National Team in 2017, scoring in a World Cup qualifier against Honduras. Despite a serious foot injury that sidelined him for months, he returned to form and has since earned over 30 international caps and contributed several goals.

Lletget is recognized for his tactical versatility, strong field vision, and ability to play multiple midfield roles. In the 2024 MLS season, he led FC Dallas in assists and was frequently recognized for standout performances. Off the field, he is known for his professionalism, dedication to fitness and recovery, and pride in his Argentine-American heritage.
