Scott Kelly

Scott Kelly is a global executive and transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational change. Kelly has held leadership roles at multinational organizations including Motorola, Dun & Bradstreet, Nestlé, and Scottish Power, where he developed expertise in talent strategy, business transformation, and organizational alignment. He holds degrees in human resource management, biology, and biotechnology from the University of the West of Scotland and the University of Strathclyde.

Kelly joined Hitachi in a senior HR capacity and advanced through positions at Hitachi Vantara. He began as vice president of HR for Hitachi Data Systems, overseeing the EMEA and APAC regions. Kelly later served as chief human resources officer, senior vice president of client-facing operations, and global head of talent management. As CHRO, he managed all aspects of human resources, including HR information systems, workforce planning, compensation, performance management, leadership succession planning, diversity, legal compliance, and organization development.

Kelly was promoted to chief operating officer while retaining his responsibilities as chief transformation officer at Hitachi Vantara. In these roles, he led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on digital transformation, data-driven innovation, and global growth strategy. Kelly oversaw daily operations across sales, global partners, marketing, IT, and HR, aligning company strategy with business objectives and transformation goals. His background in human capital strategy and operational leadership provides insight into navigating digital disruption, enterprise transformation, and the future of work.
