Scott Hanselman

Scott Hanselman is a programmer, teacher, speaker, author, and technology community leader with more than 30 years of experience in software development. He serves as Vice President of Developer Community at Microsoft, where he focuses on .NET, open-source technologies, and the Azure cloud developer experience. Working from his home office in Portland, Oregon, Hanselman has become one of the most recognized voices in the global developer community.

A passionate advocate for technology education and inclusion, Hanselman has spent more than two decades blogging, podcasting, and creating content that helps developers navigate emerging technologies and industry trends. He is the host and creator of several popular technology programs, including the long-running Hanselminutes podcast, Azure Friday, and Scott and Mark Learn To, reaching millions of developers worldwide.

Before joining Microsoft, Hanselman served as Chief Architect at Corillian Corporation and worked as a consultant for organizations including Intel and Nike. He has also taught as an Adjunct Professor, sharing his expertise in software development and web technologies with the next generation of technologists.
