Samantha Radocchia

Samantha Radocchia, widely known as Sam Rad, is a futurist, anthropologist, entrepreneur, and author whose work focuses on the intersection of technology and humanity. Radocchia combines anthropological and technological perspectives to examine the impact of emerging technologies on society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology, linguistics, and English literature from Colgate University and a Master of Arts in interactive technology from New York University. Radocchia was among the first anthropologists to conduct ethnographic research in the virtual world Second Life, applying traditional ethnographic methods to digital environments.

A four-time entrepreneur, Radocchia holds several patents that bridge the physical and digital worlds and has served in multiple founding executive roles. She is recognized for her contributions to artificial intelligence, blockchain, Web3, applied cryptography, natural language processing, immersive realities, and simulations. Radocchia co-founded LOVE, an AI-driven decentralized video communication platform, and Chronicled, a blockchain company focused on global commerce and supply chains. She is also the founder of Radical Next, a meta-media studio and strategic consultancy that develops stories, experiences, and media productions related to future technologies and societal transformation.
