Sam Palladio

Sam Palladio is an English actor and musician known for his work in American television and music.

Palladio had a stage role in a Barry Manilow jukebox musical, followed by a dramatic role portraying Joe Strummer in a Sky comedy-drama. He built his early career with guest roles in television series including "Little Crackers," "Doctors," "The Hour," and "Cardinal Burns."

Palladio gained recognition for his starring role as Gunnar Scott in the ABC musical drama series "Nashville." The show, created by Academy Award-winning writer Callie Khouri, ran for six seasons and allowed Palladio to merge his acting and musical abilities, performing original songs and collaborating with Nashville songwriters. Living in Nashville, he created music and performed in local venues, blending his British roots with the city's musical influences.

Beyond "Nashville," Palladio has appeared in a range of television and film projects. He had recurring roles as Stoke in the comedy series "Episodes" and as Ed in the science fiction drama "Humans." He also appeared in ABC's primetime drama "Rebel." His film credits include "7 Lives," "Runner, Runner," "Strange Magic," "The Princess Switch," "The Princess Switch: Switched Again," and "The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star." Palladio portrayed Joe Strummer in the biopic "Bob Marley: One Love."

In addition to acting, Palladio has pursued a music career. He released his debut album, "The Perfect Summer's Day, Before We Lost The Light," which blends heartland Americana with rock influences. The album features collaborations with Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro on "Spill Your Heart" and Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters on "Tennessee." Recorded in Nashville and at Los Angeles' Sunset Sound, the album was mixed by Grammy-winning producer Dave Sardy. The lead single, "Something On My Mind," is a pop ballad inspired by the passing of Palladio's mother.

Palladio's debut album was followed by a sold-out UK headlining "Before We Lost The Light" tour. Reviewers noted his musicianship and rapport with audiences. Palladio continues to work across television, film, and music, demonstrating versatility as an actor and musician in the entertainment industry.
