Sam Corlett

Sam Corlett is an Australian actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. Corlett developed a passion for storytelling through his interest in art, psychology, and poetry, and refined his acting skills while earning a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Acting from the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. His stage credits include roles such as Stanley Kowalski in Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire," Thomas Putnam in Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," and Demetrius in William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Corlett made his screen debut alongside Eric Bana in the Australian film "The Dry," and soon after joined the cast of "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," portraying Caliban. He appeared in 14 episodes of the series, filmed in Vancouver, Canada, which expanded his international recognition and showcased his ability to bring depth to supernatural roles.

Corlett later took on the lead role of Leif Erikson in the Netflix historical drama "Vikings: Valhalla," which reached the top position on the Netflix Global charts for both Season 1 and Season 2. He starred alongside Leo Suter and Frida Gustavsson in the Viking saga, set more than a century after the Lothbrok era. While filming in Ireland, Corlett maintained a rigorous physical and mental training regimen, reflecting his commitment to the demands of historical and action-driven roles.

In the Netflix series "Territory," Corlett played Marshall Lawson in a drama centered on a family battling for control of a billion-dollar cattle ranch in remote Australia. His performance earned him a Logie Award nomination, further establishing his presence in the Australian television industry.

Corlett also starred in the independent film "He Ain't Heavy," which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival. As a writer and director, he created the short film "At The Motel" for Sony Ciné.
