Sam Coffey

Samantha Grace Coffey is a professional soccer player with a notable career in both the domestic and international arenas. Currently, Coffey is a midfielder for Manchester City and the United States national team. Her college soccer tenure was marked by three-time All-American honors during her time with the Boston College Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions. Drafted by Portland Thorns FC in the first round of the 2021 NWSL Draft, Coffey quickly made her mark, securing the 2022 NWSL Championship in her rookie season and earning a place in the NWSL Best XI First Team three times.

Coffey's involvement with the United States national team began in 2022, and she has since gained recognition on the international stage. Her achievements include winning a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics and being a key player in the United States' victories at the 2022 CONCACAF W Championship and the 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup.
