Salla Eckhardt

Salla Eckhardt is a visionary leader in digital transformation and innovation within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. With over two decades of experience, she is widely recognized for her expertise in integrating cutting-edge technologies—such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital twins, and data-driven workflows—into the full lifecycle of the built environment.

Originally from Finland, Salla holds a master’s degree in architecture and structural engineering. Her early academic and professional pursuits positioned her as a pioneer in industrialized construction. She later went on to lead transformational initiatives at Microsoft, where she served as the Director of Digital Building Lifecycle and Innovation. There, she developed strategic frameworks and led multi-million-dollar programs to standardize digital building practices at a global scale.

Salla is currently the Senior Vice President of Commercial Markets at OAC Services, where she helps clients adopt and scale digital construction strategies. She is also the founder of SEE Bright LLC, a consultancy focused on enabling successful digital transitions across the AEC sector.

A sought-after speaker and thought leader, Salla has presented internationally on topics such as digital innovation, data governance, and sustainability. She has chaired national initiatives, including the U.S. National BIM Program Steering Committee, and continues to shape the future of digital practice in the built world.
