Sacha Connor

Sacha Connor is the founder and CEO of Virtual Work Insider, a consultancy focused on helping organizations operate effectively across hybrid, distributed, and remote teams. Virtual Work Insider provides training programs and resources on leadership, communication, collaboration, and building organizational culture in flexible work environments. Connor brings 18 years of business leadership experience in marketing, sales, and new product innovation at The Clorox Company and agency-side at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Connor began working remotely after relocating across the country while maintaining her role at Clorox. She led large hybrid teams responsible for more than $250 million in sales and managed a $25 million marketing budget. Connor became the first fully remote member of the leadership team overseeing a $1 billion division. She co-founded the first Virtual Workforce Employee Resource Group at Clorox, which promoted location inclusion, taught virtual leadership skills, and influenced executive leadership on adapting to the evolving workplace. The group, initially created for remote employees, became the largest and fastest-growing employee resource group at Clorox, despite fewer than 5 percent of employees working remotely.

After her corporate experience, Connor launched Virtual Work Insider to share her expertise in remote work, hybrid team management, and digital collaboration. She supports both people leaders and individual contributors in developing skills to become what she calls Omni-Modal Leaders—those who can communicate, collaborate, innovate, influence, and build team culture across all work modes. Virtual Work Insider has delivered more than 375 training sessions, executive workshops, and speaking engagements on hybrid and remote work to audiences ranging from 10 to more than 1,000. Clients include Toyota, Sephora, Eventbrite, Vanguard, Under Armour, L'Oréal, Highwire PR, Gilead, and Cisco.

Connor has been recognized as a thought leader in the future of work, named a LinkedIn Top Voice on distributed work skills. Her speaking engagements include IDEO U's "Creative Confidence Podcast," Diversity Best Practices' EmERGe Summit, FlexJobs' TRaD Conference, Remote Year's Future of Work Summit, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has been published or quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Society for Human Resource Management, PBS, and Forbes. Connor emphasizes that the principles enabling effective remote work are critical for navigating emerging challenges such as artificial intelligence, and identifies intentional teamwork design as a key leadership skill for the evolving workplace.
