Solána Imani Rowe, known professionally as SZA, catapulted into the music industry after being signed by Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) in 2013. Her debut studio album, "Ctrl," released in 2017, earned her significant recognition and critical acclaim, debuting at number three on the Billboard 200. The album includes hit singles like "Drew Barrymore," "Love Galore," and "The Weekend," all certified Double Platinum or higher. Her collaboration on "All the Stars" with Kendrick Lamar, a top-ten hit from the "Black Panther" film soundtrack, received nominations for both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Her second studio album, "SOS," released in 2022, set a record for the largest streaming week for an R&B album in the US, spending twelve weeks at number one on the Billboard 200. The reissue of "SOS," titled "Lana," was released in 2024, with its lead single "Saturn" winning a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song. SZA's foray into the acting world came in 2025 with her debut role in the film "One of Them Days."

Accruing a multitude of accolades, SZA has received five Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, an American Music Award, and two Billboard Women in Music awards, including Woman of the Year. In 2024, she was awarded the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
