Ryan Lochte

Ryan Lochte is one of the most decorated American swimmers in history. A 12‑time Olympic medalist — including five gold medals — he ranks among the all‑time greats in men’s swimming. Lochte’s seven individual Olympic medals are second only to a select few in the sport, and he has held the world record in the 200‑meter individual medley. Over the course of his career, he has won 70 medals in major international competition, with 45 first‑place finishes, and was named American and World Swimmer of the Year twice.
