Ryan Hunter-Reay

Ryan Hunter-Reay is an American open-wheel racing driver recognized for his achievements in the IndyCar Series. Over a career spanning more than two decades, Hunter-Reay has recorded 18 career wins, including victories at the Indianapolis 500 and the IndyCar Series championship, becoming the first American to secure both since Sam Hornish Jr. His career includes wins in the former Champ Car World Series, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, and multiple overall victories in IMSA sports car events such as the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. Hunter-Reay has also represented the United States in the Race of Champions and competed in A1 Grand Prix and various endurance racing series.

Hunter-Reay began his professional journey with early successes in karting and the Skip Barber Formula Dodge, quickly advancing to make his Champ Car debut and earning wins despite frequent team changes and financial challenges within the sport.
