Ryan Bingham

Ryan Bingham is an accomplished musician, not only known for his work in Americana genre, but also his roots in rock and country. His array of musical talent has been recognized in the form of numerous awards, including an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Critics' Choice Award for "Best Song". These accolades were for "The Weary Kind", a song he performed and co-wrote for the 2009 film "Crazy Heart". Additionally, "The Weary Kind" earned him a Grammy Award the following year for "Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media".

In the same year, the Americana Music Association named Bingham as "Artist of the Year". His success continued with his band the Dead Horses with the release of their third studio album, "Junky Star," on August 31, 2010. The album debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 Chart and in the Top 10 on the Billboard Rock Album Chart, marking it as Bingham's most successful release to date.

After parting ways with the Dead Horses and label Lost Highway Records in 2012, Bingham released his fourth studio album, "Tomorrowland", under his own label, Axster Bingham Records. He continued his journey into TV music by writing and recording "Until I'm One With You", the theme song for the FX TV drama series "The Bridge" in 2013. Further demonstrating his versatility, Bingham's role in the film "A Country Called Home" in 2015 saw him performing and composing music. His fifth studio album "Fear and Saturday Night" was subsequently released on Axster Bingham Records on January 20, 2015. The album was produced mostly live, echoing Bingham's strong presence in live music performances.

In 2016, Bingham's first live album, "Ryan Bingham Live", was recorded at Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, TX and was also streamed live by Amazon Music. His creative output didn't stop there - 2019 saw the release of his album "American Love Song". Notable from this album was the song "Wolves", which was featured on "Yellowstone", along with Bingham himself playing a character, Walker. In 2023, his latest music release, the EP "Watch Out For The Wolf," was introduced to the world.
