Roy Reid

Roy Reid is a keynote speaker, executive coach, and expert in trust and leadership who assists organizations in building resilient, high-trust cultures. Reid brings more than 25 years of experience as a counselor to leaders in business, government, and civic organizations. As an authority on trust, leadership, executive communications, and strategic growth, he serves as a counselor, strategist, and coach to leaders seeking to ensure their decisions, relationships, and organizational culture remain effective under pressure.

Reid was a partner at the public relations firm Consensus Communications and previously served as director of communications for Florida Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in the United States. He also held the role of executive director of communications for the University of Central Florida College of Business and is the founder of Enso Leadership.

Reid is the co-author of "The Trust Transformation," a leadership framework and book that guides leaders in improving performance by strengthening relationships through the intentional work of earning, cultivating, and restoring trust. His earlier work, "Outrageous Trust," serves as the foundation for "The Trust Transformation." He also hosts "The Well-Being Connector," a podcast for the Coalition for Physician Well-Being. Reid is a senior fellow with The Stockworth Institute and founder of Walk With You, a coaching and executive communications consultancy.

After surviving a life-threatening aortic dissection, Reid shifted his focus to purpose, gratitude, and impact. He combines storytelling, executive insight, and an evidence-based framework to help leaders improve relationships, strengthen organizational culture, and make sound decisions under pressure. Reid has served as a principal investigator on trust research at AdventHealth and has worked with Fortune 500 companies, healthcare organizations, entrepreneurs, professional service firms, and public agencies, including AdventHealth, University of Central Florida, Walmart, Walt Disney Resorts, CSX Transportation, and Duke Energy.

Reid's work has been recognized by professional organizations, including the Florida Public Relations Association's Public Relations Professional of the Year, the Public Relations Society of America's Frank R. Stanberry Ethics Award, and a lifetime achievement award from Trust Across America / Trust Around the World. He holds credentials as an Accredited Public Relations professional, Certified Public Relations Counselor, and Master Certified Professional Coach.
