Today, she is a pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother, author, and speaker. Her books—The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert, Openness Unhindered, The Gospel Comes with a House Key, and Five Lies of Our Anti-Christian Age—trace her remarkable journey from a champion of queer theory to a defender of biblical faith, identity, and hospitality. Butterfield’s story continues to challenge and encourage believers to hold truth and grace together in an age of confusion.
