Ron Taylor

Ron Taylor is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for his distinctive comedic style, which blends wit and a unique perspective on serious topics. Taylor began developing his comedic instincts in high school, where his humor was first recognized by teammates. He refined his craft by studying the timing and structure of established comedians, transitioning from informal performances to a professional career in comedy.

Taylor's career includes being selected as a New Face at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and performing in Kevin Hart's talent showcase "LOL Live." He was chosen by Bill Burr to appear on Comedy Central's stand-up series "The Ringers." Taylor has also been featured on BET's "Apollo Live," Fox TV's "Laughs," and in viral videos on the All Def-Digital network. He has performed at comedy festivals and clubs internationally, hosted Blake Griffin's Charity Comedy Show in Los Angeles and Russell Westbrook's Charity Comedy Show in Oklahoma City, and is a paid regular at the Comedy Store in Hollywood.

In addition to stand-up, Taylor has worked as an actor and writer. He was a series regular on Freeform's "None of the Above" and appeared in "Oh Jerome, No" on FX. His film credits include "Old Dads." Taylor released his debut comedy special, "Avalanche," exclusively on Veeps, a project developed over several years.

Taylor won "Funny AF with Kevin Hart," a Netflix comedy competition series, earning a Netflix comedy special. Throughout the competition, Taylor was recognized for his ability to engage audiences with sharp material and dynamic performances. As winner, Taylor is set to tape his first Netflix special, reportedly titled "Elevate," and to appear at The Roast of Kevin Hart during Netflix Is a Joke Fest.
