Ron Archer

Dr. Ron Archer is the founder and chairman of an international leadership development think tank, an entrepreneur, and a bestselling author. Archer has been recognized by the National Speakers Association for his work in leadership development and motivational speaking. As an orator, college professor, author, and television personality, Archer has delivered messages focused on leadership, personal growth, and overcoming adversity.

Archer's personal background includes overcoming significant health challenges, childhood trauma, and a severe stutter. After surviving a suicide attempt at age 10, he credits a schoolteacher and a neighbor for helping him find faith and confidence. Archer earned a scholarship to a preparatory high school, where he graduated with honors and became the first Black student body president in the school's history. He later served as a pastor, mentor, business executive, and public speaker, focusing on leadership training and mentoring emerging leaders.

Archer's work in leadership development spans multiple industries, including professional sports, business, and the military. He has provided leadership training for NFL teams such as the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs. Archer has also advised U.S. presidents and trained executives from Fortune 500 companies, as well as military leaders including Four Star General B.B. Bell and Three Star General Sanchez. His consulting work extends to the U.S. Army Europe and 7th Army, U.S. Army Korea, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Archer has received several awards, including the Martin Luther King Leadership Award and Corporate Trainer of the Year, and has been inducted into the Crain's 40/40 Hall of Fame for his contributions to leadership, education, and philanthropy in the Cleveland area. His television training series, "Peak Performance under Peak Pressure," received a Telly Award for best leadership program. As an author, Archer has written several books, including the memoir "What Belief Can Do: How God Turned My Pain into Power and Tragedy into Triumph," "The Power of One Man," and "Ron Archer on Teams."
