Rodney Gillespie

Rodney Gillespie is a pharmaceutical executive serving as senior vice president and U.S. therapeutic area head for oncology at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. In this role, Gillespie oversees the U.S. oncology portfolio, managing commercial strategy, profit and loss, and the launch of therapies across solid tumors, radioligand therapy, hematology, and cell and gene therapies. He has contributed to Novartis's efforts to improve patient outcomes, including partnerships such as the Blitz the Barriers initiative with Zero Prostate Cancer, which focuses on community education and early detection.

Before joining Novartis, Gillespie held roles at Janssen Oncology as vice president of sales and marketing for solid tumors, and at AstraZeneca, where he led commercial teams in the U.S., U.K., and South Africa.
