Rob Hutton

Rob Hutton is an international bestselling author, leadership coach, and executive with extensive experience in the American homebuilding industry. Hutton holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and began his career in real estate brokerage before joining Milburn Homes, then the largest private builder in Central Texas. Following the acquisition of Milburn Homes by Continental Homes, Hutton advanced to director of sales and marketing. After Continental Homes was acquired by D.R. Horton, he became division president for the Central Texas operation, overseeing significant growth and managing up to 3,000 annual home sales.

Hutton later joined Lennar as regional president, where he directed operations across Texas and was responsible for the building, selling, and delivery of more than 8,000 homes per year. With 28 years of senior management experience—23 of which were with Lennar and D.R. Horton, the two largest publicly traded homebuilding companies—Hutton led teams that generated more than $3 billion in revenue and over $700 million in income. His background provides a foundation for his work in leadership development and executive coaching.

Hutton is the author of "Think. Map. Do. — How Ambitious Leaders Can Accelerate Their Climb Into Senior Management," an international bestseller. He also wrote "The Operator: Learn How To Become A Rockstar In The Homebuilding Industry" and "Tales of the PhD (Pig Headedly Determined): True Stories of Tragedy, Triumph, and Relentless Tenacity," which examines resilience and achievement through 13 real-life stories.

In addition to his writing, Hutton is a keynote speaker and educator who has presented at numerous events for land, sales, and construction teams, as well as businesses and charities.
