Ricky Stenhouse Biography
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is a NASCAR Cup Series driver currently piloting the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro for Hyak Motorsports (formerly JTG Daugherty Racing). He began racing go-karts at six and quickly climbed the ranks through USAC and ARCA before joining Roush Fenway Racing. Stenhouse won back-to-back NASCAR Xfinity Series championships in 2011 and 2012, earning a full-time Cup ride in 2013 and capturing Rookie of the Year honors.
He secured his first two Cup wins in 2017 at Talladega and Daytona, and after moving to JTG Daugherty in 2020, he won the Daytona 500 pole that year and claimed a career-defining victory at the 2023 Daytona 500. He followed that with a thrilling win at Talladega in 2024. Known for his strength on superspeedways, Stenhouse is a consistent mid-pack finisher who remains a strong marketing partner, especially with Kroger Racing.
Off the track, he enjoys golf, sprint cars, and country music, and co-owns Slide Job Ranch in North Carolina with his wife, Madyson Joye Goodfleisch. There, they raise longhorns and donkeys and operate a lifestyle brand.
