Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to international fame as one of the most influential Latin artists of all time. Born Enrique Martín Morales in San Juan, he began his career as a child in the boy band Menudo before launching a solo career that helped bring Latin pop to the global stage. Known as the “King of Latin Pop,” Martin achieved worldwide success with hits like "Livin’ la Vida Loca," "She Bangs," and "Cup of Life," which became an anthem of the 1998 FIFA World Cup. His blend of Latin rhythms, pop hooks, and charismatic performances helped pave the way for a new wave of Latin artists to cross over into mainstream music.

In addition to his musical achievements, Martin has built a successful acting career, appearing in television shows, films, and stage productions. He starred in the Broadway revival of "Evita" and earned critical acclaim for his portrayal of Antonio D’Amico in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story," which brought him Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
