Rick Ross

William Leonard Roberts II, known professionally as Rick Ross, is a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and record executive recognized for his influence in hip-hop and the music industry.

After releasing the debut single "Hustlin'," Rick Ross became the subject of a bidding war, receiving offers from Bad Boy Entertainment and Murder Inc. before signing a multimillion-dollar deal with Def Jam Records. Ross released the debut album "Port of Miami" through the label, which debuted at the top spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart. He followed with the second studio album, "Trilla," which also debuted atop the Billboard 200.

Ross founded the record label Maybach Music Group, releasing studio albums including "Deeper Than Rap," "Teflon Don," "God Forgives, I Don't," "Mastermind," "Hood Billionaire," "Black Market," "Rather You Than Me," and "Port of Miami 2." He was the first artist signed to Ciroc Entertainment, a management company. MTV named Ross as the Hottest MC in the Game.

Ross received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Song for "Gold Roses," which featured Drake. In addition to his music career, Ross has expanded his entrepreneurial ventures, including investments in the restaurant industry and public speaking engagements focused on business leadership and overcoming adversity. He remains active in music, collaborating with artists and appearing at major festivals and industry events.
