Rick Baker Biography
Rick Baker, a former top-rated radio talk show host in North Carolina, and a best-selling author of three books, retired from the entertainment and media industries in 2013 after his wife, Becky, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
He dedicated his time to supporting her until she succumbed to breast cancer in 2017.
In her memory, Rick established The Becky Baker Foundation.
Known as a "breast cancer Johnny Appleseed," he has traveled extensively to promote awareness and education. Over the past nine years, the Foundation has provided over 3,000 complimentary breast cancer screenings to women across the United States.
Additionally, his Resource Center in Colorado has distributed over five million dollars in merchandise to tens of thousands of families affected by breast cancer. The Center is operated exclusively by an all-volunteer staff.
He is a distinguished member of the AAE Speakers Bureau, and his Foundation has consistently achieved Platinum Status annually.
He was recently awarded the 2026 Lauren Brohm Legacy Award from The United Breast Cancer Foundation for his "Compassion, generosity, and stedfast commitment to serving others."
