Richard Hadden

Richard Hadden, CSP, is a thought leader in the areas of leadership, employee engagement, and connecting people practices to profit performance. He is co-author of the popular "Contented Cows" leadership book series, and "Rebooting Leadership". His latest book is "Contented Cows STILL Give Better Milk".

Since 1990, Hadden has delivered more than 1,000 keynote presentations and training programs to corporations, professional associations, and other organizations on five continents. In addition to speaking and training worldwide, he and his business partner and co-author Bill Catlette, conduct employee engagement surveys for organizations, to put their clients on a path to leadership and operational improvement.

Before this, Hadden developed and practiced his leadership skills as a manager in both Financial Services and Information Technology. He was Director of Product Development for a software company in North Florida before starting his own technology consulting business in 1986. Gradually, his consulting focus shifted from Information Technology to Human Resources, Leadership, and Management.

While consulting, he taught software design, principles of management, and international economics at Jacksonville University from 1988-1991. Hadden received his MBA from The University of North Florida, Jacksonville, and his BS in Management from Jacksonville University.
