Rhiannon Bahree, known professionally as Rhia, is an Australian singer, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer recognized for her genre-blending sound across alt-pop, R&B, and downtempo music. Bahree relocated from Melbourne, Australia, to the United States after receiving a scholarship to study music production, engineering, and songwriting at Berklee College of Music. She began her music career early, recording background vocals for Australian Idol and performing in major shows while collaborating with producers in Melbourne, building a foundation in both technical and artistic aspects of the music industry.

Bahree has worked extensively as an engineer and music industry professional, performing thousands of shows across Australia and the United States to audiences exceeding 400,000. Her performances have included venues such as Sydney Opera House and Tamworth Music Festival, and she has shared the stage with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Harry Belafonte. Bahree’s work includes writing, producing, and placing songs in films, TV shows, and commercials, with music featured on platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and The Oprah Winfrey Network.

As a recording artist, Rhia has released original music and collaborated with a range of artists. Her single "Fire," produced by Samuel PK Smith and co-produced, edited, and written by Bahree, is a pop-R&B-electro track that explores themes of liberation. "Fire" earned the American Tracks Music Award for Artist Revelation, two Global Music Awards for Best Lyrics/Songwriter and Best Vocalist, two Hollywood Songwriter Awards for Best Lyrics and Best Independent Song, and was a finalist for Best Top 40/Pop Song in Unsigned Only. Bahree has also collaborated with electronic duo Break Science, Simon Cohen, and Illy, a two-time ARIA Award winner.

Bahree’s achievements include the Summer Session John Lennon Songwriting Award and more than 35 awards in various categories. She has served as a judge alongside songwriter Pat Pattison, Pamela Phillips-Oland, and Dennis R. Sinnott, director of EMI Music Publishing. Bahree is a member of the Recording Academy/GRAMMYs Committee, participating in both the songwriters and composers wing and the producers and engineers wing. She was selected for APRA AMCOS SongHubs, a collaborative opportunity for artists, writers, and producers, where her work on the song "School Reunion" reached Number 1 on European Radio Charts.

Bahree’s song "Dreaming Freedom" was nominated at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, alongside nominees such as Hans Zimmer, H.E.R., and A.R. Rahman. She collaborated with xPropelr on a composition and art installation involving more than 200 contributors worldwide, raising over $203,000 to support efforts against modern slavery. Bahree also contributed to a posthumous release honoring Bernie Worrell of Parliament Funkadelic and Talking Heads, a project featuring Daru Jones, Bootsy Collins, and Sean Lennon. Bahree’s career is marked by artistic versatility, technical expertise, and a commitment to collaboration, establishing her as a significant figure in the global music industry.
