Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush is recognized as one of the most dynamic players in college football history. During three seasons at the University of Southern California, Bush demonstrated speed, agility, and versatility as a runner, receiver, and return specialist. In his junior season, he accumulated more than 2,000 yards from scrimmage and scored 18 touchdowns, earning the Heisman Trophy, Doak Walker Award, Walter Camp Player of the Year, AP Player of the Year, and Sporting News Player of the Year. Bush was a consensus First Team All-American in consecutive seasons and contributed to the Trojans' 37-2 record, including victories at the Rose Bowl and Orange Bowl. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Bush's career included significant challenges. After forfeiting his Heisman Trophy following an NCAA investigation into improper benefits, his collegiate legacy was subject to scrutiny. The Heisman Trust later reinstated his trophy, reflecting changes in college athletics related to name, image, and likeness compensation. USC also restored his records and honors, solidifying his status among the program's all-time leaders.

Bush was selected second overall in the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints and played 11 seasons across five franchises. He was named First Team All-Pro as a punt returner, recorded over 9,000 yards from scrimmage, and scored 58 total touchdowns. Bush contributed to the Saints' Super Bowl XLIV victory and was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame, where he remains the franchise's all-time leader in receptions by a running back.

Following his professional football career, Bush transitioned to sports media and entertainment. He serves as a college football analyst on Fox Sports' "Big Noon Kickoff" pregame show and has appeared in "Happy Gilmore 2." Bush is also active in philanthropy through the 619 Charitable Foundation, supporting youth in San Diego, and the annual Bush Family Charitable Weekend, which benefits The Birthday Party Project.
