Reginald Noble, known professionally as Redman, is an American rapper, DJ, record producer, and actor recognized for shaping the sound of East Coast hip-hop. Discovered by Erick Sermon of EPMD while working as a DJ, Redman gained early attention after delivering a freestyle at an EPMD show in New York. He rose to prominence as an artist on Def Jam Recordings, with his debut album launching a series of seven gold and platinum albums.
