Rebelution is one of the most successful and influential reggae-rock bands to emerge from the United States. Formed in 2004 in Isla Vista, California, by a group of students attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, the band has built a devoted global following through its uplifting lyrics, signature blend of roots reggae, rock, dub, and soul, and commitment to artistic independence.
