Ramon Escobar

Ramon Escobar is the managing director at Actum, a global strategic consultancy, where he leads the firm's geopolitical practice. With nearly two decades of expertise in foreign policy and international business, Escobar advises clients on navigating complex markets shaped by evolving industrial and national security policies. Prior to joining Actum, Escobar served as senior director for Western Hemisphere strategy at the White House National Security Council, where he led bipartisan initiatives to mobilize public and private resources across sectors such as infrastructure, clean energy, semiconductors, and innovative technologies. His tenure at the U.S. State Department spanned four presidential administrations and included assignments in the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, culminating in a senior diplomatic role at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico.
