Rachel Lynn Solomon is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for her romantic comedies for both teens and adults. Solomon writes about imperfect people navigating relationships, and is the author of titles including "The Ex Talk," "Business or Pleasure," and "Today Tonight Tomorrow." Her books have been optioned for film and translated into 20 languages. Before becoming a full-time author, Solomon graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in journalism and worked for Northwest media outlets such as The Seattle Times and KUOW Public Radio. Her experience at KUOW Public Radio inspired her novel "The Ex Talk."

Solomon's adult romance novels have also received recognition. "Business or Pleasure" was included in lists of the best romance novels of the year by The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly. Her novel "What Happens in Amsterdam" is a romantic comedy about a woman who moves to Amsterdam and rents a room from her first love, a Dutch man who was her family's foreign exchange student and now needs to be married to inherit his canal house. The novel marks her 10th published book.
