Rachel Brosnahan

Rachel Brosnahan emerged into the spotlight for her role as Midge Maisel in "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," earning her a Primetime Emmy Award in 2018 and two consecutive Golden Globe Awards in 2018 and 2019. She also received an Emmy nomination for her role in the political thriller series "House of Cards." Brosnahan's filmography extends beyond television series with her debut in "The Unborn" and diverse roles in films like "Beautiful Creatures," "Louder Than Bombs," "The Finest Hours," "Patriots Day," "The Courier," "I'm Your Woman," and "The Amateur."

Aside from her screen appearances, Brosnahan has also made notable strides in theater, making her Broadway debut in the 2013 revival of Clifford Odets' "The Big Knife" and earning a nomination for the Drama League Distinguished Performance Award for her role in the 2023 revival of Lorraine Hansberry's "The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window." Her entrepreneurial spirit came to light in 2019 when she launched her production company, Scrap Paper Pictures. In 2025, Brosnahan took on dual roles as a star and executive producer for the Apple TV+ anthology crime drama series "Presumed Innocent." She also portrayed Lois Lane in the DC Universe superhero film "Superman."

Outside of her professional pursuits, Brosnahan has shown a commitment to social causes, as evidenced by her participation in the Live Below the Line campaign to raise awareness of global poverty. She is set to make her directorial debut with a documentary about her late aunt, fashion icon Kate Spade.
