Poman Lo

Poman Lo is a dynamic business leader, sustainability advocate, and social innovator based in Hong Kong. As the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Regal Hotels International and Vice Chairman of Century City International Holdings Limited, she plays a pivotal role in a diversified conglomerate with interests in hotel operations, real estate investment, and property development across Hong Kong and mainland China.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Poman is a trailblazer in the field of sustainable finance and education. She is the Founding Managing Partner of AlphaTrio Capital, an impact-focused venture capital fund supporting early-stage climate technology startups across Asia. In an effort to drive systemic change through education, she also founded the Institute of Sustainability and Technology, which promotes ESG literacy and interdisciplinary sustainability research. Further amplifying her mission, she established the One Earth Summit and One Earth Alliance, platforms designed to mobilize capital and community action toward innovative climate solutions.

Poman’s passion for education and youth development is rooted in her own early academic excellence. The granddaughter of renowned property tycoon Lo Ying-shek and daughter of businessman Lo Yuk-sui, she distinguished herself early on by earning the prestigious Angier B. Duke Scholarship and graduating summa cum laude in psychology from Duke University at the age of 19. Her deep interest in psychology and moral development later inspired her to create Century Innovative Technology, the company behind the "Bodhi and Friends" multimedia brand. Through this platform, she aims to instill mindfulness and emotional intelligence in children using animated series, books, and educational content.

Her commitment to nurturing the next generation extends through the Bodhi Love Foundation, a non-profit organization she founded to deliver mindfulness-based programs for children and educators. These programs focus on social, emotional, and ethical development—what she refers to as the "SEED" curriculum—designed to cultivate resilience, empathy, and ethical awareness from an early age.

Poman holds numerous high-level appointments in public service and advisory roles. She is a member of Hong Kong’s Chief Executive’s Policy Unit Expert Group, serves on the Green Technology and Finance Development Committee, and is a council member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, she is actively involved in the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, the Hong Kong Federation of Women, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, where she co-chairs various task forces focused on sustainable business and green finance.

Her accolades reflect both her achievements and her character. Poman is the only individual in Hong Kong to have received all three top honors in youth and leadership recognition: the Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award, the Outstanding Young Person of Hong Kong, and the Outstanding Young Person of the World. She was the first female Asian recipient of the Oslo Business for Peace Award and was named Business Person of the Year in Hong Kong. She has also been listed among Asia’s Most Influential figures.
