Pleasure P

Marcus Ramone Cooper Sr., known professionally as Pleasure P, is an R&B singer-songwriter recognized for his work as the lead vocalist of the Miami-based group Pretty Ricky. Cooper served as the group's main singer, while the other three members performed as rappers. He made his recording debut on Pretty Ricky's album "Bluestars," released by Atlantic Records, which achieved gold certification and produced the Top 10 hit "Grind with Me" and the Top 20 hit "Your Body." Pretty Ricky's follow-up album, "Late Night Special," also achieved commercial success, featuring the singles "On the Hotline" and "Push It Baby." With the group, Cooper contributed to "Grind with Me" reaching the No. 2 spot on the rap chart and "Late Night Special" peaking at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.

After establishing his presence in the R&B industry, Cooper pursued a solo career following the release of "Late Night Special." He introduced his solo work with the single "Did You Wrong," followed by "Boyfriend #2" and "Under," which reached numbers 42 and 78 on the Hot 100, respectively. These singles led up to his debut studio album, "The Introduction of Marcus Cooper," which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album. The song "Under" also received Grammy nominations for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song. Cooper maintained visibility in the R&B and hip-hop scene through an EP, a cameo on Flo Rida's "Shone," and participation in the Hypnotize Tour alongside artists such as Plies, Lil' Boosie, and Rick Ross. His singles "Boyfriend #2" and "Under" topped Urban and Mainstream R&B radio charts, and he served as the opening act on R. Kelly's "Ladies Make Some Noise" Tour.

Cooper has continued to contribute to the R&B genre with multiple singles and the studio album "She Likes." He appeared on the reality television series "Love & Hip Hop: Miami," where he and Pretty Ricky discussed their reunion and new projects. The reunited Pretty Ricky participated in The Millennium Tour, performing with artists including B2K, Mario, Chingy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, and Bobby Valentino. Cooper also took part in the web series Verzuz, collaborating with Sammie, Bobby V, and Ray J to form the supergroup R.S.V.P. With a career encompassing group success, Grammy-nominated solo work, reality television, and collaborative projects, Cooper remains an influential figure in contemporary R&B and hip-hop music.
