Pete Golding

Pete Golding, currently holding the position of head football coach at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), ascended to this role in late 2025 following Lane Kiffin's departure for LSU. Prior to this promotion, Golding served in a dual role as defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach at Ole Miss from 2023 to 2025. His coaching career also includes a stint at the University of Alabama, where he was part of the coaching staff during the team's 2020 national championship win.

In his debut as head coach, Golding led Ole Miss to a victory over Tulane in the College Football Playoff First Round Game on December 20, 2025.
