Pete Blaber

Pete Blaber is a retired Delta Force commander whose two-decade military career placed him at the center of significant and high-risk special operations in modern American history. He commanded at every level of one of the world’s leading counter-terrorist organizations during major military and political events, including operations in Panama, Colombia, Somalia, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Among his achievements, Blaber executed missions that included dismantling the largest concentration of Al Qaeda forces to date and contributing to the fall of Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq. He holds an MBA and an MS in national security and strategic affairs.

Blaber’s operational legacy is illustrated by his role in Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan, one of the largest conventional and special operations battles of the post-9/11 era. As a lieutenant colonel, Blaber received critical intelligence regarding the insertion of SEAL fire teams into the Shah-i-Kot Valley, placing him at the center of decision-making during the Battle of Takur Ghar.
