Pecos & The Rooftops is a Texas-based country-rock band formed in 2019 by a group of college friends in Lubbock. The lineup features Pecos Hurley (vocals, acoustic guitar), Brandon Jones (rhythm guitar), Zack Foster (lead guitar), Kalen Davis (bass), Garrett Peltier (drums), and Hunter Cassell (guitar, keys). Their music blends soulful Americana with gritty guitar work, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with fans across genres.
The band's breakout came with their debut single, "This Damn Song," in 2019. The track achieved RIAA Platinum certification and has garnered over 250 million streams globally. Following this success, they released the Red Eye EP in 2020, showcasing their evolving sound with complex arrangements and hints of jazz and psychedelic influences.
In January 2023, Pecos & The Rooftops signed with Warner Records. Their major-label debut single, "5AM," delves into themes of self-destruction and introspection, reflecting Hurley's candid songwriting style. The band has since released their self-titled debut album.
