Pauline Chalamet

Pauline Chalamet is a French-American actress, writer, director, and producer known for her work in contemporary film and television. Bilingual in English and French, Chalamet brings a transatlantic perspective to her projects, influenced by her experiences in both American and French culture. As a child, she took piano lessons and trained at the School of American Ballet, performing in a Broadway production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at age 10. After a biking accident ended her dancing career, she turned to acting, inspired by a performance in "Talk Radio." Chalamet later double majored in theater and political science at Bard College.

Chalamet began her career with small roles in television shows such as "One Life to Live" and "Royal Pains." She expanded her creative pursuits by writing and directing short films, including "Je Suis Mes Actes" and "Between Fear and Laughter." Chalamet is a co-founder of the production company Gummy Films, through which she co-produced and starred in the dark comedy film "What Doesn't Float." She also co-produced the short film "Lemon Tree," which premiered during Cannes Directors' Fortnight, highlighting her influence as a producer and supporter of independent cinema. Her acting credits include films such as "Between the Temples" and "The Devil Wears Prada 2," reflecting her continued presence in major Hollywood productions.
